Hi, I’m Elvyler the Barbarian, and welcome to Elvyler’s Game Room.
I’m just a lowly IT guy and web development specialist by day, and board game enthusiast by night. One of my favourites is HeroQuest, so that will cover a lot of the content here. One of my favourite things to do is modify the game. Sure, tabletop and board games already come with a lot of content, but it’s not our content. There’s nothing like sitting down at the table with your friends, playing a module that you made.
There are various types of content that I’d like to share in Elvyler’s Game Blog. Everything from quest ideas and custom build projects. I also have some projects that allow me to use my skills as a web developer and software engineer. Hopefully there will be something here for everyone.
Let me clear something up. I know there’s this great debate in the community over who the real evil wizard is: Zargon or Morcar. I grew up in Canada, and in our version of the game it was Zargon, so that’s who I’m going with.
My plans are to add content related to projects that I’m working on, and games that I’ve played. I’ll add whatever else I can come up with when I can.
